Volleyball Recap: Warden Triumphs

After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Tri-Cities Prep, Warden was happy to have turned things around on Tuesday. They skirted past the Granger Spartans 3-2. The win was some much needed relief for the Cougars as it spelled an end to their three-match losing streak.

Warden's victory was their first in the district, bumping their district record up to 1-3 and their overall record up to 3-8. As for Granger, they now have a losing record of 5-6.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Warden will welcome Columbia at 6:30 p.m. on Thursday. As for Granger, they will be playing at home against Mabton at 6:30 p.m. on Thursday. The Spartans are facing the Vikings at the right time seeing as the Vikings are stuck on a six-game losing streak.
