Softball Recap: Durant Comes Up Short

Durant fell victim to Center Point-Urbana and their airtight pitching crew on Friday. They took a 5-0 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Pointers. The Wildcats haven't had much luck with the Pointers recently, as the team has come up short the last three times they've met.

Durant's defeat dropped their record down to 4-7. As for Center Point-Urbana, they moved to 2-5 with that victory, which also ended their five-game losing streak.

Durant didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next game, a 4-1 win against Jesup on the 6th. As for Center Point-Urbana, they have also already played their next contest, a 6-4 victory against Assumption on the 6th.
