Baseball Recap: Roseville Comes Up Short

Roseville was not able to break out of their rough patch on Monday as the team picked up their ninth straight defeat dating back to last season. They came up short against the Lakeview Wildcats, falling 20-4.

Christian Stone was cooking despite his team's loss, going a perfect 1-for-1 with one stolen base, one run, and one RBI. Another player making a difference was Franky Guerrero, who got on base in both of his plate appearances with one stolen base and one run.

Roseville's loss dropped their record down to 0-2. As for Lakeview, the win (which was their third in a row) raised their record to 3-0.

Looking ahead, Roseville will head out on the road to square off against Lakeview at 4:30 p.m. on Monday. As for the Wildcats, they will host Newaygo at 4:00 p.m. on the 14th.
