Softball Recap: Aurora Christian Eagles vs. Lisle Lions
Aurora Christian had lost five straight on the road, but on Saturday they dropped down to 8-13 to make it six. They took a 10-7 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Lisle Lions. The Eagles were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Lions apparently hadn't forgotten their loss the last time these teams played back in May of 2025.
Grace Kendall was cooking despite her team's loss, going 3-for-4 with two stolen bases, two runs, and one triple. Another player making a difference was Tayla Ulery, who went 2-for-3 with two stolen bases and one RBI.
As for Lisle, the victory made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 7-14. Those wins came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 8.5 runs over those games.
