Volleyball Recap: Blue Eye Takes Loss Despite Strong Performances from Alyssa Dickelman and Mekinlee Spinning

Blue Eye lost against New Covenant Academy back in October of 2024 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Tuesday. The Bulldogs came up short against the Warriors, falling 3-0. The Bulldogs' loss signaled the end of their three-game winning streak.

The final score came out to 25-11, 25-11, 25-17.

Despite the defeat, Blue Eye had strong showings from Mekinlee Spinning, who had seven digs and two aces, and Alyssa Dickelman, who had 14 digs.

Blue Eye's loss dropped their record down to 21-7-3. As for New Covenant Academy, the victory was the fourth in a row for them, bringing their record up to 22-4-3.

Blue Eye didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next contest, a 3-1 win against Purdy on the 17th. As for New Covenant Academy, they have also already played their next match, a 3-0 victory against Chadwick on the 17th.
