Kendrick had to travel to play their first game of the season, but the final result was worth the trip. They blew past the Wallace Miners, posting a 70-41 win. The victory was familiar territory for the Tigers, who have now won 14 games in a row dating back to last season.

Despite the loss, Wallace saw an underclassman step up: sophomore Lennox Radford posted 16 points. Another player making a difference was Simon Sodbat, who scored 11 points.
