Basketball Recap: Starmont Takes a Loss

Starmont was not able to break out of their rough patch on Monday as the team picked up their 11th straight defeat. They came up short against the Clayton-Ridge Eagles, falling 38-16. The result was an unpleasant reminder to the Stars of the 50-29 loss they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in January of 2024.

Starmont's record is now 1-11. As for Clayton-Ridge, their win bumped their record up to 6-7.

Starmont wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next matchup, a 69-32 defeat against Calamus-Wheatland on the 14th. As for Clayton-Ridge, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next game, a 40-39 loss against West Central on the 14th.
