It can be hard to translate regular season success to the playoffs, but Saint Stephen's Episcopal had no problem doing just that on Tuesday. They sure made it a nail-biter, but they managed to escape with a 9-8 win over the Bradenton Christian Panthers. That's the second time they've managed to beat them this season, as they also won 11-0 back in March.

The team relied heavily on Emma Jackson, who went 2-for-3 with one home run, four RBI, and one stolen base. That home run marked the first that she has launched this season. Another player making a difference was Alcie Despard, who went 2-for-4 with three RBI, one run, and one double.

The victory made it two in a row for Saint Stephen's Episcopal and bumps their season record up to 9-4. The wins came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 10.0 runs over those games. As for Bradenton Christian, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 6-13.

Saint Stephen's Episcopal wasted no time getting back out on the field and has already played their next matchup, a 3-0 victory against Admiral Farragut on the 30th. Bradenton Christian does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
