Football Recap: Briggsdale Comes Up Short

Briggsdale lost against Caliche back in October of 2024 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Friday. The Falcons had to suffer through a 56-18 loss at the hands of the Buffaloes. The Falcons were in a tough position after the first half, with the score already sitting at 26-6.

Scot Francis threw for 46 yards and one touchdown. Asael Jimenez was his top target, picking up 26 receiving yards and one score.

Briggsdale has been struggling recently as they've lost five of their last six matchups. That's put a noticeable dent in their 2-6 record this season. As for Caliche, the victory (which was their third in a row) raised their record to 7-2.

Briggsdale wasted no time getting back out on the field and has already played their next game, a 52-20 win against Deer Trail on the 31st. As for Caliche, they have also already played their next contest, a 30-26 victory against Fleming on the 1st.
