Softball Recap: Winston County Yellowjackets vs. Phillips Bears
Winston County won the last time they faced Phillips and things went their way on Friday too. The Yellowjackets walked away with a 12-8 victory over the Bears.
The team relied heavily on Ella Kennedy, who went 3-for-4 with one home run, four RBI, and two runs. That's the most runs she has posted since back in February. The team also got some help courtesy of Maci Blevins, who went 3-for-5 with one home run, two stolen bases, and three runs.
Winston County was getting hits left and right and finished the game having posted a batting average of .462. That's the best batting average they've posted all season.
