Burke County's game on Friday was a loss, but they didn't let that memory haunt them on Tuesday. They were the clear victors by an 11-1 margin over the Josey Eagles. Considering the Bears have won ten matchups by more than six runs this season, Tuesday's blowout was nothing new.

Burke County is on a roll lately: they've won ten of their last 12 games. That's provided a nice bump to their 10-9 record this season. Those victories came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 12.5 runs over those games. As for Josey, they are on a four-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 4-4.

We've got plenty of inter-region action coming up soon. Burke County will take on rival Thomson at 5:00 p.m. on Wednesday. Meanwhile, Josey is set to square off against their familiar foe Laney at 6:00 p.m. on Monday.
