Football Game Preview: Hoffman Estates Hawks vs. Barrington Fillies/Broncos + Official Tickets

Hoffman Estates hasn't had much luck against Barrington recently, but that could start to change on Friday. The Hawks will host the Fillies/Broncos at 7:30 p.m. Both come into the contest bolstered by wins in their previous matches.

On Friday, Hoffman Estates didn't have too much trouble with Conant as they won 28-14. The win continues a trend for the Hawks in their matchups with the Cougars: they've now won six in a row.

Meanwhile, while Barrington put up plenty of points on Friday, the same can't be said for Schaumburg. The Fillies/Broncos blew past the Saxons, posting a 42-0 victory. The Fillies/Broncos might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won five games by 20 points or more this season.

Hoffman Estates better keep an eye on Luke Tepas. He was instrumental in Barrington's win, throwing for 217 yards and four touchdowns while completing 80% of his passes. The dominant performance also gave Tepas a new career-high in passer rating (160.4). Another player making a difference was Owen Cook, who picked up 105 receiving yards and a pair of scores.

Hoffman Estates' win bumped their record up to 6-2. As for Barrington, their victory bumped their record up to 7-1.

Hoffman Estates was taken down by Barrington 42-13 in their previous matchup back in October of 2024. Thankfully for the Hawks, Calvin Jackson (who rushed for 135 yards and four TDs) won't be suiting up this time. Will that be enough to change the final result? There's only one way to find out.
