Corydon Central extended the longest winning streak in Mid-Southern this week by beating Eastern, 35-0. The victory was the fifth in a row for the team.
Brownstown Central's offense has been unstoppable this season and the Braves feature the season leaders in passing, rushing and receiving yards. Clay Brown has thrown for 1,083 yards and 16 touchdowns this season, while Jacob Wilson has 16 catches for 379 yards.
An important game coming up in the league this week will be when Charlestown takes on Salem. At the moment, the Pirates are in fourth, while the Lions are in third.
Salem made the biggest jump in the national rankings this week, rising to 8,875 from 9,292. The improvement was the result of 26-6 victory over Clarksville last week.
