Volleyball Recap: A.C. Flora Comes Up Short

A.C. Flora was not able to break out of their rough patch on Monday as the team picked up their fifth straight loss dating back to last season. They fell 2-0 to the Carolina Forest Panthers. The Falcons were not able to make up for their defeat to the Panthers from their previous meeting back in September of 2024.

The loss didn't mean the game wasn't competitive: Carolina Forest scored at least 17 points in every set. The final score came out to 25-18, 25-17.

A.C. Flora's defeat dropped their record down to 0-4. As for Carolina Forest, they have been performing well recently as they've won four of their last five contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 7-2 record this season.

Coincidentally, A.C. Flora and Carolina Forest will both be playing West Florence the next time they take the court. The Panthers will head out to face the Knights at 7:30 p.m. on Monday, while the Falcons will play them later in the day, at 8:30 p.m.
