AuSable Valley not only won on Saturday, but they posted their biggest win since January 3rd (when they won 81-14). They simply couldn't be stopped as they easily beat the Northeastern Clinton Cougars 71-44. The Patriots pushed the score to 57-33 by the end of the third, a deficit the Cougars had little chance of recovering from.

AuSable Valley was led to victory by Aiden Blaise and Robert Amato. Blaise dropped a double-double with 21 points and 20 boards, while Amato shot 47% from the field on his way to 20 points and seven steals. The dominant performance also gave Blaise a new career-high in steals (six). Another player making a difference was Marco Amato, who posted nine points.

AuSable Valley smashed the offensive glass and finished the game with 13 offensive boards. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now pulled down at least 13 offensive rebounds every time they've taken the court this season.

AuSable Valley's first win this season bumped their record up to 1-2.
