Early County extended their winning streak to six games thanks to a huge performance from Devonis Lee. The Bobcats breezed past the Pelham Hornets to the tune of 37-0 on Friday with plenty of help from Lee, who rushed for 85 yards and one TD on only 11 carries. He didn't just play on offense: he also picked up a sack and made four total tackles.

On the defensive side of the ball, a lot of the credit has to go to Early County's defense and their three sacks. The team can thank three different players for their defensive prowess: Lee, Kobe Lingo, and Ra'Keevian Lee, who each picked up one sack apiece.

Early County's victory bumped their record up to 6-2. As for Pelham, their loss was their seventh straight at home dating back to last season, which dropped their record down to 0-8.

Early County didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next contest, a 50-30 win against Mitchell County on the 24th. As for Pelham, they also wasted no time getting back out on the field and have already played their next game, a 35-0 defeat against Miller County on the 24th.
