Baseball Recap: Dudley Victorious

After losing to Atkins the last time they met, Dudley decided to demonstrate that turnabout is fair play. The Dudley Panthers put the hurt on the Atkins Camels with a sharp 12-2 victory on Friday.

Donovan Locklear made a splash while hitting and pitching. He didn't allow a single hit, allowed only an earned run while striking out ten over five innings pitched. Locklear was also big at the plate, scoring a run while getting on base in three of his four plate appearances.

In other batting news, Brayden Jeffries was a standout: he went 3-for-4 with two stolen bases, three runs, and three RBI. Antonio Lee Jr. was another key player, scoring three runs and stealing two bases while going 3-for-3.

Dudley's first win this season bumped their record up to 1-2. As for Atkins, this is the second loss in a row for them and also nudges their season record down to 1-2.
