Football Game Preview: Easton Area Rovers vs. La Salle College Explorers + How To Watch

The Easton Area Rovers will welcome the La Salle College Explorers at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Easton Area will come into the matchup with an undefeated record on the line.

Easton Area is on a roll after a high-stakes playoff matchup on Friday. Everything went their way against Parkland as they made off with a 42-17 win. The result was nothing new for the Rovers, who have now won eight contests by 20 points or more so far this season.

Cole Ordway was his usual excellent self, rushing for 107 yards and two TDs, while also throwing for 91 yards and one touchdown on perfect 5-for-5 passing. The dominant performance also gave him a new career-high in passer rating (177.1).

Ordway was just one part of a punishing run game: Easton Area was unstoppable on the ground and finished the game with 286 rushing yards. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now rushed for at least 159 rushing yards every time they've taken the field this season.

Special teams also played a big role in the game for Easton Area, adding 12 points to the final score. The biggest highlight from special teams (and perhaps the team as a whole) came courtesy of Trevon Tyler, who ran a kickoff back for a touchdown.

Meanwhile, La Salle College faced Imhotep Charter in a battle between two of the state's top teams on Saturday. The Explorers took down the Panthers 31-16. The Explorers haven't had any issues with the Panthers recently, as the game was their third consecutive victory against them.

Easton Area's record is now 13-0. As for La Salle College, their record now sits at 10-1.
