Basketball Recap: Milpitas Takes Loss Despite Strong Performances from Jovalin Victorino and Brennalyn David

Milpitas lost against Fremont back in February of 2023 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Tuesday. The Milpitas Trojans lost to the Fremont Firebirds on the road by a 42-23 margin. The contest marked the Trojans' lowest-scoring matchup so far this season.

Brennalyn David and Jovalin Victorino certainly did their best on Tuesday to avoid the loss. David posted ten points, while Victorino had seven points.

Milpitas' defeat was their third straight on the road, which dropped their record down to 7-9. As for Fremont, they have been performing well recently as they've won three of their last four games, which provided a massive bump to their 6-9 record this season.

Coincidentally, both will both be playing Los Altos the next time they take the court. Fremont will head out to face Los Altos at 6:00 p.m. on Friday, while Milpitas will host them at 7:00 p.m. on January 21st.
