Charlotte Latin had to kick off their season on the road on Tuesday, but they showed no ill effects. They took their game with ease, bagging a 59-16 win over the West Stanly Colts. The victory continues a trend for the Hawks in their matchups with the Colts: they've now won five in a row.

Charlotte Latin's success was the result of a balanced attack that saw several players step up, but Mollie Snyder led the charge by putting up 13 points and eight steals. What's more, Snyder posted two assists, the most she's had since back in November of 2024. Charlotte Tune was another key player, earning 16 points and five steals.

Despite the loss, West Stanly still got an impressive performance from Kennedy Foxx, who had four points in addition to five boards and five steals. Another player making a difference was Madi Whitey, who put up four points.

West Stanly's loss dropped their record down to 0-2.

Charlotte Latin didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next contest, a 73-23 win against Metrolina Christian Academy on the 20th. As for West Stanly, they will take on Gray Stone Day at 6:00 p.m. on Monday.
