Basketball Game Preview: Lutheran Lions vs. Palisade Bulldogs + How To Watch

Having just played yesterday, the Lutheran Lions will jump right back in to play the Palisade Bulldogs at 9:00 a.m. on Saturday. Keep an eye on the score for this one: the two teams posted some lofty point totals in their previous games.

It was a proper cat-fight when Lutheran took on Fruita Monument on Friday. The Lions lost to the Wildcats on the road by a 79-61 margin.

Meanwhile, Palisade had to kick off their season on the road on Friday, but they showed no ill effects. They took down Monarch 73-56.

Lutheran now has a losing record of 1-2. As for Palisade, their victory bumped their record up to 1-0.

Lutheran came up short against Palisade in their previous meeting back in December of 2024, falling 55-50. A big factor in that loss was the dominant performance of the Bulldogs' Hunter Howard, who almost dropped a double-double with nine points and ten boards.
