Volleyball Game Preview: Siletz Valley vs. Mapleton Sailors + How To Watch

Siletz Valley and Mapleton are an even 5-5 against one another since October of 2017, but not for long. Siletz Valley will head out to square off against Mapleton at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Siletz Valley is coming into the contest on a three-game losing streak.

On Thursday, Siletz Valley came up short against Mohawk and fell 3-1. While Siletz Valley didn't get the win, they did start the game off strong, beating Mohawk 25-19 in the first set.

Siletz Valley started the match hot and won the first set, but they struggled down the stretch and lost the last three. The final score came out to 19-25, 25-8, 25-17, 25-14.

Mapleton had taken Crow down for two straight games at home, but that winning streak came to an end on Thursday. The Sailors lost 3-0 to the Cougars. The home team had taken home the W every time these teams have met since September 5, 2024, but that streak is no more.

Siletz Valley's loss dropped their record down to 3-10. As for Mapleton, their defeat dropped their record down to 4-13.

Everything went Siletz Valley's way against Mapleton in their previous matchup last Thursday, as Siletz Valley made off with a 3-0 victory. The rematch might be a little tougher for Siletz Valley since the team won't have the home-court advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
