Pace Academy proved they can win big last Wednesday (they won by ten) and on Friday they proved they can win the close ones too. They won by a goal and slipped past the Starr's Mill Panthers 4-3. That's more bragging rights for Pace Academy, who also won the pair's last head-to-head.

They hit Starr's Mill with a three-pronged attack, as the team got scores from Maya Reiss (2), Britton McGurn, and Harper Auchincloss.

Pace Academy has been performing well recently as they've won five of their last six games. That's provided a nice bump to their 8-3 record this season. Those wins came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they scored 41 goals over those six contests. The defeat snapped Starr's Mill's winning streak at five games and leaves them with a 6-5 record.

Pace Academy has already played their next match (against Midtown), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing. As for Starr's Mill, they didn't take long to hit the pitch again: they've already played their next game, a 5-0 victory against Northside on the 25th.
