Baseball Recap: Jackson-Reed Tigers vs. Dunbar Crimson Tide
There's no place like home for Jackson-Reed, who bounced back after a loss on the road on Tuesday. Everything went their way against the Dunbar Crimson Tide on Wednesday as Jackson-Reed made off with a 15-1 victory. The Tigers might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won five contests by eight runs or more this season.
Keith Parham looked comfortable as he struck out eight batters over three innings while giving up just one earned run off one hit.
On the hitting side, Tommy Gore was incredible, getting on base in all three of his plate appearances with three stolen bases, three runs, and three RBI. Those three stolen bases gave him a new career-high. Derick Riddick was another key player, scoring two runs and stealing five bases while going 1-for-2.
