Softball Recap: Eastern Wayne Wins Going Away Against Beddingfield

Eastern Wayne never let their opponents score on Tuesday. They blew past the Beddingfield Bruins 10-0. The Warriors have beaten the Bruins the last five times they've met, but they better watch out: this was the closest the Bruins has come to flipping the script.

Mallory Reed made a splash while hitting and pitching. On the mound, she kept things locked down with no earned runs or hits while striking out 14 over five innings pitched. She has been nothing but reliable: she hasn't given up more than two hits any time she's pitched this season. She was also solid in the batter's box, scoring a run while getting on base in three of her four plate appearances. That run was her first of the season.

In other batting news, Hannah Lee was excellent, scoring a run and stealing a base while going 2-for-3. Another player making a difference was Kerintun Kinley, who scored a run and stole a base while going 1-for-3.
