Volleyball Recap: Sharyland Snaps Four-Game Streak of Losses on the Road

Sharyland won the last time they faced Pharr-San Juan-Alamo Memorial and things went their way on Saturday too. The Rattlers were the clear victors by a 3-0 margin over the Wolverines.

While Sharyland won a shutout, things came down to the wire in the second set they played. The final score came out to 25-8, 25-22, 25-11.

Sharyland found their leader in sophomore Alisela Rangel, who had ten digs.

Sharyland's win ended a four-game drought on the road and puts them at 17-12. As for Pharr-San Juan-Alamo Memorial, they are on a five-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 4-13.

We've got plenty of inter-district action coming up soon. Sharyland is set to square off against their familiar foe Pharr-San Juan-Alamo North at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Meanwhile, Pharr-San Juan-Alamo Memorial will face off against rival Rowe at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
