Football Game Preview: Fosston Greyhounds vs. Hancock Owls

The Fosston Greyhounds will head out to face off against the Hancock Owls at 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday.

Fosston is coming in fresh off a high-stakes matchup with another one of Minnesota's top teams: Clearbrook-Gonvick, who was ranked 17th at the time (Fosston was ranked 14th). The Greyhounds took a 32-28 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Bears on Friday. The contest was a 16-16 toss-up at halftime, but the Greyhounds couldn't quite close it out.

Meanwhile, Hancock had already won three in a row (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 31 points) and they went ahead and made it four on Friday. They blew past the Tigers 32-12. Considering the Owls have won four matchups by more than 19 points this season, Friday's blowout was nothing new.

Fosston has traveled a rocky road recently, having lost three of their last four games. That's put a noticeable dent in their 4-3 record this season. As for Hancock, they now have a winning record of 4-3.
