Softball Recap: Hubbard Has No Trouble Against Everman

Hubbard saw some tournament action on Saturday. They were the clear victor by a 12-3 margin over the Everman Bulldogs.

Alyssa Kraayvanger was incredible, going a perfect2-for-2 with one home run, two runs, and two RBI. She has been hot recently, having posted at least one home run the last three times she's played. The team also got some help courtesy of Kami Marmarosa, who scored two runs and stole a base while going 1-for-1.

Hubbard hit smart and finished the game with only one strikeout. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now struck out at most four strikeouts every time they've taken the field this season.

Hubbard's victory bumped their record up to 2-0-1. As for Everman, they are on a four-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 1-7.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. A feisty cat fight will be fought as the Jaguars duke it out with the Cougars at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Everman, they will face off against Trimble Tech at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
