Football Recap: Louisburg Wildcats vs. Clay Center Tigers

Louisburg extended their losing streak (dating back to last season) to five on Friday, dropping them down to 0-3. They were beaten by the Clay Center Tigers 34-7. The Wildcats were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Tigers apparently hadn't forgotten their defeat the last time these teams played back in September of 2024.

Eisaac Girton was a one-man wrecking crew as he rushed for 110 yards and three TDs. Those three rushing touchdowns gave him a new career-high. Cayden Schwab got in on the action as well, converting a pick into a touchdown.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Louisburg will get a bit of extra time to process the loss as their next game is a ways off.
