Softball Recap: Blaine Bengals vs. Centennial Cougars

If Blaine was feeling good fresh off their 12-2 takedown of Duluth East last Saturday, their most recent game may have dampened their spirits a bit. The Bengals fell just short of the Centennial Cougars by a score of 6-5 on Monday. The Bengals haven't had much luck with the Cougars recently, as the team has come up short the last five times they've met.

Paige Dahlman was a force to be reckoned with on the mound despite the final result: she didn't allow a single earned run over five innings pitched. She has been nothing but reliable: she hasn't given up more than two walks any time she's pitched this season.
