Football Recap: Newark Collegiate Academy Comes Up Short

Newark Collegiate Academy fell victim to Snyder and their airtight defense on Friday. They took a blow against the Tigers, falling 32-0. If the Panthers were looking for revenge after losing 24-8 to the Tigers when the teams met back in September of 2024, then they'll just have to keep looking.

Newark Collegiate Academy's loss dropped their record down to 0-2. As for Snyder, their victory (their first of the season) made their record 1-2.

Newark Collegiate Academy and Snyder will both get their first taste of in-conference action in their upcoming games. The Panthers will square off against rival Verona at 1:00 p.m. on the 20th. Meanwhile, Snyder is set to face off against their familiar foe West Side at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday.
