Gallup is 9-1 against Shiprock since October of 2021 and they'll have a chance to extend that dominance on Tuesday. The Bengals will venture away from home to square off against the Chieftains at 6:00 p.m. The two teams are strolling into their contests after big wins in their previous games.

Gallup not only won on Thursday, but they posted their biggest win since September 13th (when they won 3-0). Everything went their way against Bloomfield as they made off with a 3-0 victory.

Gallup was especially dominant in the third set. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-23, 25-23, 25-15.

Meanwhile, Shiprock waltzed into their match on Thursday with three straight wins... but they left with four. They blew past the Tigers 3-0.

The win didn't come easy: Aztec scored at least 20 points in every set. The match finished with set scores of 25-20, 27-25, 25-23.

Shiprock's victory bumped their record up to 12-8. As for Gallup, their win bumped their record up to 10-11.

Gallup came out on top in a nail-biter against Shiprock in their previous meeting back in October, sneaking past 3-2. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Bengals since the squad won't have the home-court advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
