Volleyball Recap: Helena's Win on Tuesday Extends Winning Streak to Four

Helena came tearing into Tuesday's matchup with three straight wins , and they left with even more momentum. They walked away with a 2-0 victory over the McAdory Yellowjackets. The Huskies have seen this before: they got the W the last time they saw the Yellowjackets, too.

Helena not only won, but also showed off some consistency: they kept McAdory to exactly 17 points across their sets. The match finished with set scores of 25-17, 25-17.

Monroe Bouler paced Helena's offense, picking up nine kills. Bouler got some help from Avery Cantley and her 12 assists. Bouler also made an impact serving: she shared the team lead in aces with Riley Woods, racking up two apiece.

Helena's win bumped their record up to 14-12. As for McAdory, their loss ended a five-game streak of wins at home dating back to last season and dropped them to 5-8.

Helena didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next game, a 2-0 victory against Cornerstone on the 23rd. As for McAdory, they will challenge Sumiton Christian at 8:00 a.m. on Saturday.
