Stone came into Thursday's game looking for another win against North Forrest, but Brooklynn Adams wouldn't allow it. The Eagles breezed past the Tomcats to the tune of 59-14 on Thursday for which the team can thank Adams, who almost dropped a double-double with 16 points and nine steals. Her big performance that evening made it nine games in a row in which she has scored at least 16 points.

Laken Wilson was another key player, putting up 13 points and three steals. She has been hot recently, having posted two or more steals the last three times she's played.

The victory made it two in a row for North Forrest and bumps their season record up to 8-3. The wins came thanks in part to their defensive effort, having only surrendered a grand total of 53 points in those games. As for Stone, they are on a nine-game losing streak (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-8.

Looking ahead, North Forrest will take on Seminary at 5:00 p.m. on Monday. As for Stone, they will square off against Forrest County Agricultural at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
