Volleyball Recap: Richmond Heights Comes Up Short

Richmond Heights was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their 25th straight loss dating back to last season. They lost 3-0 to the Fairview Warriors. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Warriors this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 3-0 on September 2nd.

The final score came out to 25-14, 25-6, 25-14.

Fairview was led to victory by Molly Flynt and Josie Bobko. Flynt had nine digs and six aces, while Bobko had ten digs. That's the most aces Flynt has posted over her last eight contests.

Richmond Heights' defeat dropped their record down to 0-12. As for Fairview, the victory (which was their eighth in a row) raised their record to 13-3.

We've got plenty of inter-conference action coming up soon. Richmond Heights will square off against rival Trinity at 6:00 p.m. on Monday. Meanwhile, Fairview is set to challenge their familiar foe Independence at 6:00 p.m. on Monday.
