Basketball Recap: St. David's Undefeated Season over After Three Games + How To Watch

After flying high against Andrada Polytechnic on Friday, St. David came back down to earth. The Tigers took a hard 62-48 fall against the Joseph City Wildcats on Saturday. The Tigers were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Wildcats apparently hadn't forgotten their defeat the last time these teams played back in March of 2021.

Joseph City's victory was a true team effort, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Eli James, who went 6-for-11 en route to 16 points and seven rebounds. The team also got some help courtesy of Cort Miller, who dropped a double-double with 12 points and ten boards.

Having lost for the first time this season, St. David fell to 2-1. As for Joseph City, the win made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 5-1.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. St. David will challenge Lourdes Catholic at 7:00 p.m. on December 1. As for Joseph City, they will take on Dishchii'bikoh at 7:00 p.m. on Monday.
