Baseball Recap: Southeastern Local Comes Up Short

Friday just wasn't the day for Southeastern Local's offense. They came up short against the Tri-County North Panthers on Friday, falling 10-0. The Trojans were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Panthers apparently hadn't forgotten their loss the last time these teams played back in May of 2023.

This is the second loss in a row for Southeastern Local and nudges their season record down to 2-15. As for Tri-County North, their victory bumped their record up to 11-6.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Southeastern Local will square off against Catholic Central at 5:00 p.m. on Monday. The Irish have struggled to contain batters this season (they've allowed 14.75 runs per game on average), something the Trojans will no doubt try to take advantage of. As for Tri-County North, they will be playing at home against Preble Shawnee at 5:00 p.m. on Monday. The Arrows have struggled to contain batters this season (they've allowed 12.4 runs per game on average), something the Panthers will no doubt try to take advantage of.
