Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Sahuaro). They blew past the Rincon/University Rangers, posting a 60-30 victory. The Cougars have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won three games by 27 points or more this season.

Anissa Garcia had a dynamite game, shooting 47% from the field en route to 19 points along with seven boards and three steals. Those 19 points gave her a new career-high. Layla O'Rourke-Slone was another key player, putting up five points in addition to seven rebounds and three steals.

Sahuaro smashed the offensive glass and finished the game with 15 offensive rebounds. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now pulled down at least 13 offensive boards in three consecutive matchups.

Sahuaro's win bumped their record up to 4-1. As for Rincon/University, they have been struggling recently as they've lost three of their last four contests. That's put a noticeable dent in their 3-3 record this season.

Sahuaro and Walden Grove will face off at 2:20 p.m. on Wednesday without much rest, having both just played. As for Rincon/University, they will have a little extra prep time after the defeat as they won't be playing again for a while. They'll take on Queen Creek at 6:00 p.m. on December 5.
