Holcomb extended their winning streak to five games thanks to a huge performance from Delilah Galliart. The Longhorns walked away with a 2-0 victory over the Colby Eagles on Thursday thanks in part to Galliart, who had 11 digs. She has been hot, having posted 11 or more digs the last seven times she's played.

Holcomb easily took the first set, but they let things get interesting in the other. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-6, 25-19.

Holcomb's win bumped their record up to 19-3. As for Colby, they have traveled a rocky road recently, having lost three of their last four contests. That's put a noticeable dent in their 7-17 record this season.

Holcomb has already played their next matchup, a 2-0 defeat against Goodland on the 2nd. As for Colby, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next match, a 2-0 victory against Russell on the 7th.
