Basketball Recap: Union Christian Academy Takes a Loss

Union Christian Academy was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their third straight loss. They were a single point away from ending the streak, but they lost a 50-49 heartbreaker at the hands of the Immanuel Lutheran Christian Academy N/A. The Eagles lost against the N/A in their previous head to head back in January of 2024, too, but the margin this time around was much closer than the 59-31 score last time.

Union Christian Academy's defeat was their first in the conference, dropping their conference record down to 3-1 and their overall record down to 3-3. As for Immanuel Lutheran Christian Academy, they have been performing well recently as they've won four of their last five matchups. That's provided a nice bump to their 5-2 record this season.

Union Christian Academy will be playing at home against Fayetteville Christian at 7:00 p.m. on Monday. As for Immanuel Lutheran Christian Academy, they will take on Eagle Point Christian Academy at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
