Football Recap: Brandon Valley's Victory on Friday Extends Winning Streak to Eight

Brandon Valley faced Harrisburg in a battle between two of the state's top teams on Friday. The Lynx's defense stepped up to hand the Tigers a 24-0 shutout. Considering the Lynx have won seven games by more than 20 points this season, Friday's blowout was nothing new.

The win keeps Brandon Valley at an undefeated 8-0. The victories came thanks in part to their defensive effort, having only surrendered 10.4 points on average this season. As for Harrisburg, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 5-3.
