Basketball Recap: Calvary Christian Takes a Loss

Calvary Christian played a tough match on Friday in which they were outscored in every quarter. They were outmatched by the Spencerville Bearcats and fell 65-24. The contest marked the Spartans' lowest-scoring game so far this season.

Several Spartans players turned in solid performances despite ultimately coming up short. Perhaps the best among those players was Christian Rogan, who posted six points.

Calvary Christian's loss was their seventh straight on the road, which dropped their record down to 4-13. As for Spencerville, their victory bumped their record up to 19-2.

Calvary Christian has already played their next matchup, a 50-44 win against First Baptist Christian on the 18th. As for Spencerville, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next game, a 61-24 victory against Parkway on the 15th.
