Baseball Recap: Cohasset Comes Up Short

Cohasset was the 4-2 winner over Silver Lake Regional when they last played one another back in March, but their luck changed this time around. The Skippers fell 11-6 to the Lakers on Wednesday. The Skippers have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Austin Soderberg was cooking despite his team's loss, going 1-for-4 with three RBI and one double. Those RBI were his first of the season. Connor Thornton was another key player, going 1-for-2 with one run and one RBI.

Cohasset now has a losing record of 3-4. As for Silver Lake Regional, they are on a roll lately: they've won three of their last four contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 3-3 record this season.

Cohasset will face off against Dedham at 12:00 p.m. on Thursday. As for Silver Lake Regional, they will square off against Rockland at 12:00 p.m. on Friday.
