Basketball Recap: King Takes a Loss

King lost against Flour Bluff back in January and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Tuesday. The King Mustangs were dealt a 57-24 loss at the hands of the Flour Bluff Hornets. While losing is never fun, the Mustangs can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Texas basketball rankings (they are ranked 966th, while the Hornets are ranked 81st).

Despite the loss, King still got an impressive performance from Kamila Hernandez, who posted 11 points and three steals. Hernandez is on a roll when it comes to steals, as she's now grabbed two or more in the last three games she's played.

King has been struggling recently as they've lost six of their last seven matches, which put a noticeable dent in their 10-26 record this season. As for Flour Bluff, the victory (which was their eighth in a row) raised their record to 22-5.

As of now, neither King nor Flour Bluff have any future games scheduled.
