Softball Recap: Brantley Wins Going Away Against Providence Christian

After only one run in their last game, Brantley made sure to put some runs up on the board against Providence Christian on Friday. The Bulldogs were the clear victors by a 15-5 margin over the Eagles. The win was a breath of fresh air for the Bulldogs as it put an end to their three-game losing streak.

Brantley's victory bumped their record up to 17-10. As for Providence Christian, they dropped their record down to 5-14-1 with the defeat, which was their seventh straight on the road.

Coming up, Brantley will take on Rehobeth in a tournament on Friday. The Rebels' pitching crew has only allowed 3.8 runs per game this season, so the Bulldogs' hitters will have their work cut out for them. As for Providence Christian, they will head out to take on Wicksburg at 5:00 p.m. on Monday.
