The Lancers fell 37-28 to the Olathe West Owls on Friday. The Lancers have struggled against the Owls recently, as the game was their fourth consecutive lost matchup.

Despite the loss, Shawnee Mission East still got an impressive performance from Vince Kopp, who rushed for 69 yards and four scores. Thomas Vanice helped out on the ground, rushing for 91 yards.
