Recap: Seaford Bluejays vs. Early College Hornets
The Seaford Bluejays had to travel to play their first game of the season, but the final result was worth the trip. They snuck past Early College with a 43-39 victory on Tuesday. That's another feather in the cap for Seaford, who also won these teams' last head-to-head.
Seaford's win was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from Kashmier Wise, who scored 17 points along with six rebounds. The team also got some help courtesy of Omari Nichols, who scored six points along with eight rebounds.
Seaford pushed their record up to 1-0 with that win, which was their ninth straight on the road dating back to last season. Those good results were due in large part to their offensive dominance across that stretch, as they averaged 74.4 points per game. As for Early College, they now have a losing record at 1-2.
Seaford will head out on the road to face off against Sussex Academy at 6:30 p.m. on Thursday. Sussex Academy comes in still looking for their first win of the season. Early College won't have much time to rest: their next match is against First State Military Academy at 6:30 p.m. on December 13th.
