Football Recap: University Lab Takes Down Booker T. Washington-Shreveport in a Playoff Battle

University Lab had already proven themselves in the regular season and they didn't miss a beat now that it's playoff time. They took their contest on Friday with ease, bagging a 50-16 victory over the Booker T. Washington-Shreveport Lions. The Cubs might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won seven matchups by 34 points or more this season.

Although Booker T. Washington-Shreveport took the loss, they still got scores from Caden Harris and Dk Mitchell.

The win (which was University Lab's eighth in a row) raised their record to 9-2. The victories came thanks in part to their defensive effort, having only surrendered 9.8 points on average over those games. As for Booker T. Washington-Shreveport, their defeat dropped their record down to 7-5.

Looking ahead, University Lab will take on Madison Prep Academy at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. The two teams have allowed few points on average (the Cubs 13.1, Madison Prep Academy 14.5) so any points scored will be well earned. Booker T.
