Waskom had won nine straight at home dating back to last season, but on Friday they bumped up to 7-2 to make it ten. They walked away with a 34-21 victory over the Elysian Fields Yellowjackets. The Wildcats have seen this before: they got the W the last time they saw the Yellowjackets, too.

Having lost for the first time this season, Elysian Fields fell to 8-1. The contest marked their lowest-scoring game so far this season.

When it comes to explaining why Elysian Fields lost, don't look at Nunu Kennedy. Despite the final result, he threw for 125 yards and one TD on perfect 7-for-7 passing, and also rushed for 40 yards.
