Basketball Recap: Greenville Takes a Loss

Greenville lost against Slippery Rock back in February of 2024 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Friday. The Greenville Trojans opened the new year with a less-than-successful 72-59 loss to the Slippery Rock Rockets. The Trojans have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Greenville's defeat dropped their record down to 3-5. As for Slippery Rock, the win was the third in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 7-2.

Greenville will venture away from home to square off against Conneaut Area at 7:00 p.m. on Monday. As for Slippery Rock, they wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next contest, a 66-42 loss against Fort LeBoeuf on the 4th.
